Advanced VLSI Training Programs Calendar

Advanced Diploma in Embedded Systems (ADEMS)
Experts from the industry delivering world class design solutions with 7 to 30 years of experience have been handpicked to teach this course. This course offers the participants theory and practical experience in designing embedded systems and allows them to learn firsthand problems encountered in embedded system design and how these problems are solved. An integral part of the program is working closely with experts on industry projects to gain firsthand experience on how professionals deal with challenges.

Advanced Diploma in ASIC Design and Engineering (ADAD)
This program offers VLSI training as relevant to ASIC Design, enabling students to gain mastery and technical expertise in this specialized area of VLSI Design. The course builds from core concepts to advanced levels with a right balance of lectures and labs, followed by a live project. Conducted by a team of highly dedicated industry professionals and faculty trained by them, the program is delivered in an industry like atmosphere using Sun cluster grid, thin client technology and industry standard EDA tools from Cadence, Synopsys and Mentor Graphics and Foundry kits from Jazz Semiconductors, USA..

Certificate in IC Mask Layout (ICML)

The IC Mask Layout Course introduces students to the various techniques used to design custom Analog and digital layouts. Taught by industry professionals, the program will prepare you for a great career in mask layout.

This course is conducted using industry standard EDA tools from Cadence and Mentor Graphics in an industry like atmosphere using computing technology from SUN.

Short Module Programs (Part Time)
Ideal for working professionals looking to switch careers or change job domain or students who want to prepare for a career in VLSI. Currently four modules are offered which span the ASIC design cycle from RTL to GDS. All modules are self contained and start from basic core concepts to advanced topics meant to give you a handle on the subject. All modules have a good mix of theory and lab and are conducted in an evaluated learning atmosphere using industry standard EDA tools from Synopsys, Cadence and Mentor Graphics and foundry kits from Jazz Semiconductors, USA.
Major portion of the time is spent gaining hands on experience using EDA tools to solve problems.

Program 1: Linux and perl scripting for VLSI Engineers (SMPLINPM)

Program 2: Hardware design using Verilog and VHDL (SMPRTLAM)

Program 3: ASIC Implementation RTL to netlist (SMPRAFEAM)

Program 4: ASIC Implementation – Netlist to GDS (SMPABEPM)
